Inner frame lip seal ring

The inner skeleton lip seal is a round elastic part used for sealing, usually made of rubber or plastic and other materials, which is characterized by softness, wear resistance, corrosion resistance and good sealing. Its structure usually includes internal and external cylinder shell, skeleton, lip sealing plate and other components.

The working principle of the inner skeleton lip seal ring is to use the elasticity of the lip seal plate and the friction with the shaft and the hole wall to form a sealing isolation belt between the shaft and the hole. When the shaft rotates relative to the hole wall, the lip sealing plate constantly slides on the shaft and rotates relatively slowly at the same time, thus achieving the sealing effect.

 

The inner skeleton lip seal ring is usually divided into two types: no secondary lip (type B) and with secondary lip (type FB). Among them, the sealing lip without the secondary lip type is directly attached to the shaft, while the one with the secondary lip type has one or more auxiliary lips outside the main lip to enhance the sealing effect.

The advantages of the inner skeleton lip seal ring are its compact structure, easy installation, good sealing effect, and can maintain stable sealing performance in a wide range of pressure differences. Therefore, it is widely used in various mechanical equipment, automotive and aerospace and other fields, especially in the need to prevent fluid or gas leakage on the rotation axis.

 

When installing the inner frame lip seal ring, it is necessary to follow certain installation dimensions and specifications, including the surface quality of the mounting hole, the diameter of the mounting hole, the outer diameter of the sealing ring, and the diameter of the skeleton. In addition, it is also necessary to pay attention to the installation direction of the sealing ring and the direction of the lip to ensure that it can correctly play a sealing role.

 

It should be noted that although the internal skeleton lip seal has many advantages, under certain specific working conditions, such as high-speed rotation or high temperature and pressure, other types of sealing devices may need to be selected.
