Is the fluoro rubber seal toxic?

Is the fluoro rubber seal toxic? Under normal working conditions and operating temperatures below +200 degrees, fluororubber seals are very stable and harmless.

However, when encountering high temperatures above 300 degrees, such as the flame of the gas cutting gun, the fluoro rubber sealing ring will release harmful gases. Inhaling these gases or getting them into the eyes can be hazardous to human health.

Once the fluoro rubber seal is heated to a high temperature of more than 300 degrees, even after cooling it will be risky, so it must not directly touch the skin.

If you need to deal with fluorine rubber sealed bearings that have been subjected to high temperature before, you should abide by the following safety precautions:

(1) Wear goggles, protective gloves and appropriate breathing apparatus during the process of complete disassembly;

(2) Place the removed seal ring in a sealed plastic container, and mark "corrosion information" on the container;

(3) Strictly follow the safety precautions in the data security statement.
