What is perflurane?

Fluorinated compound

Perflurane is a fluorine containing compound, also known as perfluoropolyether or perfluorinated rubber. 12345

The main components of perflurane include terpolymers of perfluorinated (methyl vinyl) ethers, tetrafluoroethylene and perfluoroethers. This material does not contain C-H bonds and has similar thermal stability and resistance to chemical media as polytetrafluoroethylene. Perflurane has the characteristics of heat resistance, oxidation resistance, radiation resistance, corrosion resistance, non-flammable, can be liquid form at room temperature, is a lubricant used in space mechanical components for many years.
