Advantages of spring energized seal:
a. Good sealing performance, especially no pressure and micro-pressure state;
b. Simple structure;
c. Good chemical resistance;
d. The friction factor is small, the friction is small, the wear is less, even if the wear, the spring can automatically compensate the action, so the life is long;
e. Strong compression resistance;
f. Long storage period.
Disadvantages of spring energized seal:
a. The spring card manufacturing is more complicated, and the material cost is expensive, the total cost is high and uneconomical;
b. At present, the rated working pressure of the medium and high pressure hydraulic system is mostly 31.5 ~ 40MPa, so most types of spring energized seal working pressure is 21MPa, and the use of the hydraulic system with rated pressure above 21MPa is limited;
c. Imported seals, the price is too high and uneconomical.
