How is the physical form of rubber seal material classified?

Many people will be curious, how is this rubber seal made? It can be used in many places to act as a seal. So, what are the raw materials used?

Rubber material is divided into two categories: natural rubber and synthetic rubber, of which the consumption of natural rubber accounts for 1/3, and the consumption of synthetic rubber accounts for 2/3. In addition to natural rubber, synthetic rubber can be divided into general synthetic rubber, semi-general synthetic rubber, special synthetic rubber and special synthetic rubber.

The appearance of the rubber sealing ring material is divided into four categories: solid rubber (also known as dry rubber), emulsion rubber (referred to as latex), liquid rubber and powder rubber. According to the performance and use of the rubber seal structure design, it is used in various industrial fields.

So, how is the physical form of rubber seal material classified? Rubber can be divided into hard rubber and soft rubber, raw rubber and mixed rubber. According to the chemical structure, according to the existence of double bonds on the rubber molecular chain, it is divided into unsaturated rubber and saturated rubber two categories, the former has diene and non-diene vulcanized rubber, the latter has non-vulcanized rubber and other (sealing ring) elastomers. The saturated rubber sealing ring material is further divided into the main chain containing methylene rubber (ethylene propylene rubber, chlorinated polyethylene, acrylic rubber and fluorine rubber, etc.), the main chain containing sulfur rubber (polysulfide rubber), the main chain containing oxygen rubber (polyether rubber), the main chain containing silicon rubber (silicone rubber) and the main chain containing carbon, oxygen, nitrogen rubber (polyurethane rubber) and so on. In addition to natural rubber, rubber belonging to the unsaturated class, there are a large amount of butylbenzene, butadiene, isoprene, chloroprene, nitrile, butyl and other synthetic rubber, they can be modified with methylene type rubber, such as carboxylation, chlorination, chlorosulfonation, as well as with diene benzene and other pre-crosslinked rubber.
