Installation mode
1. Press installation: Special tools are used when the seals are installed into the chamber. The dimensions of the pressing end of the tool in contact with the end face of the seal must be close to the actual dimensions of the outer diameter of the installed seal.
2. Manual installation: Place the seals to be installed correctly in the cavity mouth, add a baffle of appropriate thickness to the upper part of the seals, and then use a hand hammer to strike it symmetrically and evenly, so that the seals slowly enter the installation position.
Installation procedure
1, before installation, on the one hand, check whether the shaft surface is too rough, whether there are scars, especially long scars along the axis. If the surface roughness of the shaft does not meet the requirements or there are axial scars, it is easy to cause leakage. At this time, a new shaft should be replaced or the shaft should be rounded. On the other hand, it is necessary to check the lip of the lip seal ring for scratches, wear and cracks and other defects, the tight spring should be free of distortion, no rust, and each ring of spring is arranged tightly and evenly to ensure that the quality of the rotary shaft lip seal ring is qualified.
2, the shaft and cavity seat holes are strictly cleaned, do not allow rust, sand and other foreign bodies, while blowing with compressed air.
Before loading the seal into the shaft end, a little lubricating oil and grease can be applied to the lip first, so that the seal can be smoothly inserted into the shaft end. If the lip seal ring needs to pass a spline shaft during the installation process, in order to avoid spline corners and lip damage, the spline shaft can be wrapped in plastic film, the surface is coated with grease, the lip seal is placed on the film cylinder, and the seal can be pushed through the spline shaft smoothly.
3, when the seal is installed to the cavity, in order to prevent the lip from being scratched, special tools should be used, and simple and barbaric methods are not allowed to be used, with a hammer, iron bar and other tools to knock hard into the seal. Throughout the process, it is also necessary to pay attention to the position and state of the tight hoop spring. Tight hoop spring is shaken, easy to fly off or skew, need to be closely watched.
4. Confirm that there is no defect in the contact between the lip and the shaft and the cavity seat hole.
