How to prevent O-ring twisting failure

In order to prevent O-ring twisting, the following points should be noted:

(1) When designing and machining grooves, be sure to make their coaxiality reach the tolerance range specified in the standard.

(2) The method of installing O-rings should be correct to prevent twisting during installation, otherwise it is easy to twist and twist after work.

(3) If the piston or piston rod is heavy, the gap between the small hole shaft should be reduced as far as possible, and the supporting guide sleeve should be installed near the groove if necessary.

(4) The O-ring section size should be uniform, and the uneven difference should be less than 0.1 of the section diameter tolerance.

(5) The O-ring is replaced by a star-shaped sealing ring that is not easy to twist.
